June is great for family portraits! That is why our giving back to the community event for June focuses on the family.

For three families, we are offering a outdoor portrait session and your choice of an 8x10 from that session. In order to be considered, please forward an e-mail with your name, e-mail address and phone number to us with "family" in the subject line by June 15, 2010. On June 16, 2010 we will draw from the names sent in and contact the families selected.

Looking for a model

We are currently looking for someone interested in posing in a variety of outfits. From bridal gown and evening gown to jeans and sweater, we are looking to try some new lighting techniques. The model will provide her own clothing, hair styling and make up. The model will receive a disk with the images to use for their portfolio along with a copyright release. Jennifer and Luis had a beautiful wedding at Anthony's Classic Hall in Bartlett. The hall was beautifully decorated. As this was my first time photographing at this location, I was very pleased with the lighting, space and friendliness of the staff.

Chris and Tammy's Wedding was Beautiful!

Their wedding at Botanic Garden was beautiful. It was held in the Sensory Garden. Tammy made such a pretty bride! While we all prayed there would be not be rain, we forgot to ask for moderate temperatures. The heat index was a whopping 115 or so. Next time, not only will I pray for no rain for an outdoor wedding, but also nice temperatures. :)

We would like to give back to the community in January to three moms-to-be that would like to have complimentary maternity sessions. If you are a mom-to-be or know one that would like to be considered for a complimentary maternity photo session, send us your name, phone number and e-mail address. The deadline for entering this selection is January 15th. This is for a one hour maternity session and one free 8x10 of your choice from the images taken. This is a $125 value gift. We will select three ladies for this gift and contact them by January 17th to make arrangements for their session.

October is Children's Month!

Our community activity for October is dedicated to children. We would like to photograph children from birth to twelve. We are offering four families with the gift of portraiture.

Each photo session would include a 60 - 90 minute photo session at the indoor or outdoor location of your choice and your choice of two 8" x 10" prints from the session. This is a $200 value. This session is totally free and absolutely no pressure to make any further purchase. We have a portable studio that we can set up in your home. Young children are more comfortable in their own environment and this will allow for them to be more relaxed, providing better portraits of them.
